Hello Jay,

Thanks for your comment. The Ruckelshaus Institute does not take positions on specific projects, but instead, works to provide information and collaborative decision-making support to help all stakeholders. You might be interested in a story we published in a previous issue about the trade-offs of wind energy in Wyoming, including some discussion of the Chokecherry-Sierra Madre project (http://westernconfluence.org/turbines-on-the-horizon ). Four years ago, we also wrote, interestingly enough, about how the Obama Administration was fast-tracking Chokecherry-Sierra Madre (http://westernconfluence.org/federal-government-fast-tracks-a-wyoming-wind-farm).

Best,

Hey, you in the Ruckelshaus Institute, if you are so concerned about maintaining habitat for the black-footed ferrets, why did you completely avoid the opportunity to actually have input through the debacle of the Boswell Springs Wind-energy Project? Will you of the Ruckelshaus Institute follow that same degree of interest with the Invenergy and Chokecherry/Sierra Madre projects? Just askin' . . . .
